Happy Birthday Charlie & Greta

My niece, Julie Aborn Neimann, was inspired to make these adorable cupcakes to celebrate Charlie's first birthday's and Greta's third birthday! I especially LOVE the lady bugs and gummy worms! The oreo "dirt" was espcially appealing to the kids.

Congratulations Dylan!

My daughter's boyfriend, Dylan, graduated from Highschool and will be attending Endicott in September. He is a HUGE Boston Bruins fan.

A celebration cake was made for him with a hockey theme.

Happy Birthday Pam!

My BFF from high school, Pam Porter, celebrated her 49th! OF COURSE, I made a cake to celebrate the special occasion!

A Lifelong Hobby

I worked at a bakery called "The Cookie Box" in high school. Mr. Parker ran a tight ship. He made me practice with frosting piled into pastry bags daily for three straight weeks. I remember vividly when my first cake with red roses was deemed "good enough" to go into the case to be purchased. I watched a gentleman point to my cake and have it boxed. Something I made was going home. Baking and decorating cakes has been a joy in my life ever since those high school days and the early mornings at the Cookie Box. Thank you Mr. Parker where ever you are.
